Part two is here! In part one, we looked at ten commanders who need more love within the format; looking at sites like pdhrec.com and moxfield.com, I realized that there are so many other Pauper EDH commanders who need more love! These three decks are decks that I’ve been playing a ton with our testing group and having a blast with, including a blast from the past on a commander I’ve already covered; all of these decks are a lot of fun and have different takes within their archetype. Without further adieu, let’s get it!

#3: Baron Bertram Graywater Aristocrat Tokens
Baron Bertram Graywater has only twenty-four decks on pdhrec.com
Baron Bertram Graywater is a card that I think is super cool and an interesting take on the aristocrat and token archetype. Baron’s ability can only be triggered once per turn but has a consistent source of token production, and his second ability provides consistent card draw, which can help Orzhov a ton. This deck follows the typical strategy that you would expect from an aristocrat strategy, including drain and gain, sacrifice, and just general value from sacrificing our tokens and permanents. We also have a ton of token production, which typically just ends up being more sacrifice fodder, but being able to get that benefit and go-wide can be quite strong.

#2: Mercurial Geists Cantrips
Mercurial Geists has only five decks on pdhrec.com
Mercurial Geists is a very fun commander to play, and truthfully I am quite surprised that there is only five decks out there for this one. This deck is definitely not as optimized as something like Khenra Spellspear // Gitaxian Spellstalker but is a very fun take on Izzet cantrips and certainly scratches that itch, while it is a little slower than some of the other options an evasive creature that gets huge quickly easily allows a commander damage one-shot while boasting a gameplan full of cantripping and spellslinging.
I have done a full breakdown/primer on this deck and you can find it here!

#1: Lady Evangela Enchantress Control
Lady Evangela has only ten decks on pdhrec.com
Lady Evangela is a very weird and interesting commander; having a Fog for a specific creature can be quite strong, especially since we have quite a few ways to untap them. While we are a control deck we also have an enchantment package within the deck that helps us slow down our opponents with cards like Clawing Torment and Cowed by Wisdom, and we have ways to finish off our opponents with cards like All That Glitters and Ethereal Armor. This is a control deck with a little bit of a twist, but it is an absolute blast to pilot!
