This page is written for transparency. It is not a substitute for legal advice, and privacy obligations can vary by location and business activity.
1. Overview
Tuesday Night Takeover ("TNT," "we," "us," or "our") operates this website for Magic: The Gathering deck articles, Commander resources, deck tools, videos, supporter features, and community links. By using the site, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
2. Information We Collect
We collect information in a few limited ways:
- Information you provide: deck request details, messages, email addresses, supporter-code help requests, and any information you submit through forms or community channels.
- Site usage data: pages visited, article links clicked, deck/card commerce links clicked, affiliate link clicks, referring page, destination host, timestamps, browser/user-agent hash, and anonymous visitor/session identifiers.
- Technical data: information needed to run the site, secure it, prevent abuse, and diagnose issues.
- Payment/supporter data: supporter purchases may be handled by payment processors such as Stripe. We may receive limited transaction or activation information, but we do not store full payment card details.
3. How We Use Information
We use information to operate and improve the site, respond to requests, manage supporter features, understand which articles and deck tools are useful, measure affiliate link performance, protect the site, and maintain records needed for administration.
We do not sell personal information. We do not use submitted decklists or deck requests to identify you beyond handling the request or feature you chose to use.
4. Cookies & Analytics
We use first-party cookies and similar browser storage for site functionality and local analytics. TNT Analytics uses an anonymous visitor ID stored in your browser to count unique visitors and repeat clicks. The analytics database stores a salted hash of that ID, not the raw cookie value.
Analytics events may include article clicks, deck/card commerce clicks, affiliate clicks, destination hosts, source article/page, card names, deck names, and timestamps. We use this data to understand site performance and content interest.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser. Some features, such as supporter status or unique analytics counting, may work less reliably if cookies are disabled.
5. Affiliate Links
Some links on TNT are affiliate or partner links, including links to services such as TCGPlayer, ManaPool, WNYGaming, Moxfield, YouTube, social platforms, or other external sites. If you click an affiliate link or make a purchase after clicking one, TNT may receive a commission or other benefit at no additional cost to you.
We track affiliate and commerce-link clicks locally so we can understand which links are useful. We do not know whether you actually completed a purchase unless a third-party partner separately reports that information to us.
6. Third Parties
External websites and embedded services have their own privacy practices. This includes affiliate partners, payment processors, social media platforms, video platforms, Discord, Scryfall, deckbuilding services, and other sites we link to or use for site features. We are not responsible for third-party privacy policies or security practices.
7. Data Retention
We keep information only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described above. TNT Analytics is configured with a default retention period of 365 days unless changed by site administrators. Supporter records, request records, or administrative records may be kept longer when needed for support, accounting, abuse prevention, or legal compliance.
8. Your Choices
You may choose not to submit forms, may disable cookies through your browser, and may contact us to request deletion or correction of information you believe we hold about you. Some requests may require verification, and some records may be retained where needed for security, legal, or administrative reasons.
If privacy laws in your location grant additional rights, such as access, correction, deletion, portability, or opt-out rights, you may contact us to make a request.
9. Security
We use reasonable technical and administrative safeguards for the site and its data. No internet service or storage system can be guaranteed to be perfectly secure, so we cannot promise absolute security.
10. Children
TNT is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child submitted personal information to us, please contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate.
11. Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy as the site, tools, analytics, legal requirements, or business practices change. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
12. Contact
Questions about this Privacy Policy can be sent through our official community channels or the contact methods listed on the site.
