Anzrag, the Quake-Mole Extra Combats Brewed EDH

Post has published by BigDoinks
Anzrag is a commander I wanted to feature during MKM week, but never got the chance to. I am very excited to showcase this deck today. While this deck is pretty straightforward and is nothing more than a Gruul stompy deck with extra combats, I found it to be fun and interactive, and while decently powerful and certainly requiring the right table with appropriate power levels, it’s still an absolute blast to play. If you are a fan of a ton of combats or just Gruul in general, I think you will like this one. Without further ado, let’s get it!

Hancock, Ghoulish Mayor Zombies Brewed EDH

Post has published by BigDoinks
If you are tired of the typical Zombies game plan and are looking for more of a stompy element, then Hancock is certainly the commander for you. There is actually a shocking amount of support for a ton of different counters within mono-black. If you have played zombies in Commander before, you will see that we are running an absolute ton of the same cards that typical zombie decks run, but because of our commander, we are able to be more aggressive and swing much, much harder. Let’s take a trip to Goodneighbor and speak to Hancock about this one. Without further adieu, let’s get it!

Caesar, Legion’s Emperor Tokens Brewed EDH

Post has published by BigDoinks
All the way from the Mojave, Caesar is here! Caesar is certainly a controversial figure within the Fallout games, but here they make for a very strong commander who is absolutely perfect for a token strategy. Caesar is an absolute powerhouse and is also in the perfect color combination for a token deck because we have a ton of support for tokens as well as a ton of strong sources of non-combat damage from the deck. I have been having a blast with this one, and while I think the deck is pretty strong, it’s certainly not oppressive or going to win in the first five turns. I personally love to pull this deck out at a table with other creature strategies as the combats get crazier and fun. I am very excited to showcase this one today; without further adieu, let’s get it!

Oloro, Ageless Ascetic Lifegain Brewed EDH

Post has published by BigDoinks
2013 has returned, and the former boogeyman of the format is back! I still remember the days of being generally afraid of going against Oloro and thinking how broken his eminence before eminence ability was. Oloro has certainly fallen from favor within the format, and besides a dedicated community, there are not a ton of people rocking out with Oloro these days. I love former powerhouses in the format and for this deck I realized that there actually is a ton of amazing support and while Oloro isn’t as strong or as pushed as he once was, he is quite strong and still an absolute blast to pilot. I am super excited to showcase this one today, without further adieu lets get it!
