Ojer Axonil, Deepest Might Burn Brewed EDH
Post has published by
Move over Purphoros! Ojer Axonil is a mono-red powerhouse who rivals one of the best mono-red commanders ever. While Ojer’s conditions are a little bit different, I found that Ojer is capable of, out of nowhere, huge damage wins, Ojer is a beast, and I can’t believe they only cost four mana. On top of that, they are quite hard to kill since they just flip into a land on death. We are a spell slinger burn deck focused on controlling the board and dealing a ton of damage to our opponent’s faces. This deck feels as mono-red as they come and is an absolute blast to pilot! I have been testing this one for a while, without further adieu lets get it!
Geralf, Visionary Stitcher Toughness Brewed EDH

Geralf is one of my favorite characters and previous favorite commanders in Stitcher Geralf so I when I found Geralf, Visionary Stitcher, I was very excited to see even more mono-blue zombie-based goodness! I have piloted this deck for quite some time and have enjoyed nearly every game with it, and it is an interesting take on zombies, which is one of the most popular creatures types in the format and is perfect for players at any skill level and can be a great way to introduce more complicated mechanics as well as the stack to newer players. I have used this deck with novice and brand-new players a few times, and they were able to expand their game knowledge and understanding with it. This is definitely one of my “pet decks” and something I can never take apart; I am very excited to share this one. Without further adieu let’s get it!
Kiora, Sovereign of the Deep Sea Monsters Brewed EDH
Post has published by
Kiora, Sovereign of the Deep, is the perfect commander for one of magic’s biggest creature types in sea monsters, which encompasses whales, Krakens, Serpents, and Leviathans, which have a surprising amount of support but are definitely not the most popular creature type. We are in Simic, so we have a lot of sources of ramp that allow us to cast our huge creatures early and take over the board. Kiora is hard to remove and a huge threat when they are on the field because they let us get more free sea monsters. We are not heavy on counters but have a decent amount to protect ourselves or stop opponents. I had a ton of fun with this deck. While it may not be the most powerful in the world, it’s a ton of fun! Without further adieu, let’s get it!
Higure, the Still Wind Ninjas Brewed EDH
Post has published by
While many people look to the top of sites like EDHREC for commander ideas, I decided to take it in a different direction and look toward the bottom, and I decided on Higure! Higure only has sixty-five decks on EDHREC, which is pretty crazy. While this deck is certainly not as strong as the Dimir Ninjutsu strategies, it has been a fun experimental deck that I finally got where I wanted. While this deck has some high-powered cards like Cyclonic Rift, it certainly is not mid-high power overall, and I found the most success with some lower-level decks at my LGS. This deck for more represents the beauty of commander. Whether the top or the bottom, every deck has a place at the table. Without further adieu, let’s get it!
