It's Bilbos 111th birthday and you are invited! Bilbo is a really fun commander who is an awesome abzan lifegain commander with a super strong ability! Bilbo's colors allow us to play a bunch of amazing cards and has a lot more range than typical lifegain decks. Bilbos first ability allowing us to gain 1 more life per lifegain instance is always helpful as well. Lets get into it!

Mono-White is widely considered one of the weakest mono colors in all of EDH, Skrelv helps to break that stigma if only by a little bit. Skrelv is an incredibly fun to play commander and a lot of opponents will underestimate him when sitting down at a table, while he may be often underestimated he is pretty powerful and very fun to pilot!

Izzet has always loved to draw cards and The Locust God absolutely furthers that notion and keeps doing it, while he may have a higher than average mana cost he can come out pretty early and is a ton of fun to pilot. Red does all of these things very well, just like in the last article when we covered white, Red is a great supporting color but no the strongest on its own.
